Co-op Zombie Action ‘Zombie Hamsters’ Drops Free Demo on Steam

Developer Unigames LLP is thrilled to announce that a free playable demo for their upcoming co-op hamster action game, Zombie Hamsters, is now available on Steam. Players are invited to step into the tiny, fluffy, and fiercely hungry paws of… the undead.

Zombie Hamsters is a chaotic cooperative game for up to 4 players. Your mission? Lead a furry zombie uprising and break out of a top-secret laboratory, leaving nothing behind but ruins and a fluffy army of darkness.

Two Paths to Freedom: All-Out Mayhem or Stealth

Players get to choose their own playstyle. You can unleash absolute chaos by infecting the lab staff and turning the facility into ground zero for a fluffy apocalypse. Alternatively, take the stealthy route: coordinate with your squad, stay low, and navigate narrow ventilation shafts right under the guards’ noses.

Key features:

  • Tiny Heroes, Huge Problems: The world around you is deadly. Players must dodge clever traps and think twice before hitting that big red button—what lies behind the door might not be an exit, but something far hungrier than a pack of zombie hamsters.
  • Unique Mutations & Teamwork: Every zombie hamster comes packed with unique abilities. Combine your squad’s mutations to solve complex, physics-based puzzles and overcome formidable obstacles.
  • Interactive Environment & Realistic Physics: Total freedom of action! Thanks to a robust physics engine, players can chew, push, throw, and destroy almost anything in their path.

“We wanted to strike a balance between classic co-op mechanics and pure, unadulterated fun, where the protagonists aren’t your typical brutal survivors, but a tiny yet unstoppable threat,” said Vladislav Pilyukhovsky, PR Manager at Unigames LLP.

The demo is available for download now on Steam. The full release of Zombie Hamsters is scheduled for 2027.
