Farom Studio has released the public demo of Age After Age, an upcoming city-building strategy game that combines complex economic management, logistics, social development, and long-term civilization growth.
The demo is now available on Steam and allows players to experience the early stages of building and managing a settlement while exploring the core mechanics that define the game.
In Age After Age, players begin with a small settlement and guide it through multiple paths of development. Cities can evolve through traditional historical progress or branch into alternative eras, each introducing unique technologies, production chains, social structures, and strategic opportunities.
The game features:
- Deep city-building and economic management.
- Advanced logistics and transportation networks.
- Dynamic production chains and resource balancing.
- Social classes with unique needs and demands.
- Laws, policies, and societal development systems.
- Dynamic weather and environmental challenges.
- Multiple civilization paths and era progression.
- Large-scale late-game strategic gameplay.
Unlike many modern projects, Age After Age is being developed without the use of AI-generated art or outsourced gameplay programming. The development team consists of over 30 developers, artists, designers, and specialists working directly on the project.
The newly released demo showcases the foundation of the game’s economic systems, city planning mechanics, logistics, and citizen management while providing players with a first look at the world of Age After Age.
“We wanted players to experience real gameplay systems as early as possible and help shape the future of the project through feedback,” said Konstantine Lisetskiy, Co-Founder and CTO of Farom Studio. “This demo represents years of development and is only the beginning of what we plan to deliver.”
