Solo developer Chris Considine recently announced Endangered, a fast-paced, roguelite, action game where evolved animal heroes return to Earth centuries after leaving for the stars.
Set in the year 2400, players take control of powerful animal warriors including tigers, bears, pandas, and more as they battle through dangerous environments to take revenge against humanity for endangering their species’. Combining hack-and-slash combat inspired by large-scale action games with roguelite progression, every run offers new upgrades, equipment, and challenges. Endangered is currently in development for PC and can be wishlisted on Steam now.
Key features:
- Play as 8 unique animal heroes, each with different weapons and elemental abilities.
- Battle through four unique biomes including forest, desert, glacier, and city.
- Collect powerful upgrades, equipment, and items to create unique builds every run.
- Battle powerful bosses and hordes of enemies.
“With Endangered, I wanted to combine the large scale action of Dynasty Warriors with the replay-ability and progression systems found in modern roguelites such as Megabonk and Roboquest,” said developer Chris Considine.
